Re: Where's my old Ash Custom?

I'd love to track my old Heilo down too: I bought this one many moons ago on Trademe. Still my go to guitar. Oh wow- I never thought I'd track it down! Glad you're still enjoying it, but if you ever want to sell it let me know! You’ll be first on the list if I ever feel inclined to move it, on’t ho...

That sounds like me over here, however when I move back unfortunately I won't quite be in my 20's, will possibly have sold all my good gear and won't have any transport. Other than that I'd be the man for the job.

Whats with all these bands suddenly coming to NZ. There was hardly anyone touring over there when I left, now it seems almost everyones jumping over for a show. In other news, I now have my maiden ticket, soon to get my dreamtheater ticket and my soundwave ticket, all I need to get now is my plane t...

Joh really is a good guy to deal with as far as customer support goes. Although I wasn't too fond of the guitar I bought off him. It just didn't sound good to my ears. Still not too keen on how much he charges for his chinese goods. If you got a good deal well done, I thought at the time I got a goo...

Also and airline beat up my acoustic pretty bad, and i even saw the guy throw it out with the rest of the luggage but was still pretty young and di...

Speaking of that microwave, please explain to me how you use it and what it does? I've been wondering about that for an age.

Are they worth more than the mig100h and is that just for the head? Just curious because I have a mig100h that I picked up for about 550 with an eminence quad and it's a brilliant amp.

Would one be able to get a p90 loaded tele pickguard, such as the one pictured? I have a thinline tele and I'm not completely satisfied with the p/ups. I think p90s would make it "the shizz."

I have a JMP-1 pre going through a Randall RT2/50. Sounds pretty alright for metal tones but the clean sound is pretty average. Definately usable but not great. The poweramp I'm really digging, midi switchable between the 2 channels so you can have 2 different valves sounds in the one amp, ingenious...
