If you’ve got a hot pink Tele to match my stubbies then please don’t hesitate to let me know.Bg wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 5:18 pmIndeed, you don't seem to be asking about a bright pink tele, just the olly white one you like the look ofThewilltopowerrock wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 5:03 pm Well it’s the looks that are the most important.

Re: Output mod
Didn’t realise there were so many politicians here - 2 pages of replies and basically no answer to the question! 😂 Mike, could you go into slightly more detail about what work would be required? What would actually be changed/added? Keep it layman level please haha. Sorry, I thought I had answered ...

Re: Output mod
Thanks everyone but I’m not sure my question has been answered 😬 so I’ll ask it another way: The AC15HW (for example) is switchable between 15w and 7w. In principle, can you modify an amp to incorporate this feature? If so, how much of a process is it? Please forget about specific outputs, pulling ...

Re: Output mod
Effing hell, I posted a reply here but I must not have pressed submit 😕 Basically, I know all about tube amp volume & attenuators (thank you), but was just wondering if such a mod as described would be a feasible alternative for desirable yet loud amps which may not necessarily have a master vol...

Re: Output mod
The 100-50w was just an example. In reality I’m wondering more like start with something in the 20-40w range and drop down low, maybe even 5w.
Slowly, primarily decrease volume since bulk of playing is bedroom etc.

Output mod
How hard is it to mod a tube amp to have multiple output levels? I.e., start with a 100w amp and mod to have a 50w output.

Re: Considering a partscaster: Please im-part your knowledge
Cheers for the insights. Yeah I'd also be keen to hear from local builders who could do a basic tele body finished in nitro. I can't imagine I'd save much doing it myself, buying individual cans and such, plus risk ending up with a crap finish. I tried it once with a strat body and ended up with a ...

Re: Considering a partscaster: Please im-part your knowledge
I’m in exactly the same boat right down to the 60’s specs in Olympic White. My first thought was MJT. The cost to get a full package minus electronics from them looked to be around the same price as a second hand MIA. At first this made me think there was ultimately no point so keep an eye on TM but...
