I do agree with this, though possibly in a less rude way haha. Blue would be number one choice for me though so nothing beats it. They are really nice looking guitars.

Re: NGD: Suhr T2

Very nice guitar, I have been fantasising about a Post Modern Tele but this could sway me I think. (I can't afford either, bud it doesn't stop me from dreaming)

Very nice. It would be one of the first things I'd do to that Tele too.

Re: PLEK is cool

Cool wee video, I have to ask if Gibson uses the same level of detail when PLEKing their guitars, you still seem to hear about nuts incorrectly cut etc. Maybe their QC isn't as stringent or maybe people like to look for faults in Gibson guitars. PLEKing doesn't touch the nut if I'm not mistaken. It...

Re: Industrial Rock

I was into Fear Factory (Demanufacture mostly) in a big way in my late teens/early 20's and it still sees the odd play every now and then. I have also enjoyed KMFDM, White/Rob Zombie, Powerman 5000 and a few others, surprisingly I never really got into NIN. Never really gave them a decent chance.

Re: Opeth - Sydney Opera House - 6 Feb 2017

Bummer, still, Opeth in the opera house will be amazing, and it gives you an excuse to go see one of the other gigs as well.
I'm actually not sure I'm going to make it. I might have some work on that week which would be too good to pass up.

Caligula's Horse just announced as support for all the figs apart from the opera house one, pretty tempted by the Auckland date now.

Puscifer, Vector arena, 29th Jan

I am a huge Tool fan but it took me a while to get into Puscifer. Their last two albums have been great though so I'll be going to this for sure. It's all seated, any advice on where is good?

Haha, Oi Polloi are mentioned in the initial post, I've seen them in some shitty wee places in Scotland! Brings back memories.
