It was, but I bought that in 2017 or so.
I bought some from him a while ago too, very hard trying to get him to reply to requests, need somebody to go in and ask him in person
Give him a call, he's good on the phone.

NippleWrestler wrote: Thu Sep 08, 2022 1:46 pm Seems like a massive job to be honest. It's not quite the same but you can get 1m of 300x50mm mahogany for $50, which is enough for 2 bodies.
Is this Fijian Mahogany from Pride in South Auckland???
It was, but I bought that in 2017 or so.

Re: The Gibson Les Paul Model thread

https://www.premierguitar.com/news/gibson-1959-humbucker-collectors-edition Looking at the packaging, you just know these will be spendy. Edit: Yep, $999 USD. Weren’t they likely to be highly variable in those days? They were yeah, they were all over the place depending on who wound them and how th...

Then yeah that's fine. I put my phone on the table or desk or floor or my thigh, open the recording app, do the thing, then click share and send it the jam groups WhatsApp group.

For professional recording? Nope.

For getting ideas down and having them easily sharable? Yep.

Re: Home recording advice

There's no real reason to go Apple, and if you get the Volt 1 at $300 NZD that leaves you with $700 for some sort of Apple device. I don't see the benefit personally when everything works perfectly well on Windows. That interface is fine. It doesn't look any better or worse than anything else, but b...

$750 buy now in Auckland.

I remember seeing a WTB post but couldn't recall who posted it sorry. If you're still looking that seems like a decent deal.

diomaniac wrote: Wed Jan 10, 2024 2:15 pm There's a Swedish band called Tribulation, one of the guitarists used to play mainly the Gibson LPC but in their recent music videos and live performances he has been playing that exact Epiphone Tony Iommi. Great band by the way worth the listen.
Except his has the binding and the full inlays.

Re: Amp issue - help needed please!

Presumably that's C106? That goes between lugs 2 and 3 of the jack. According to Aiken amps it's there for added protection against noise/interference: "...Fortunately, there is a simple addition to the star ground scheme that will make for a very quiet amplifier with no RFI. Simply add a 0.01u...

Re: Amp issue - help needed please!

It's a 220n cap rated for 63v. I have about 100 of them if you get stuck and are in Auckland. Although mine are 100v and a little fatter to reflect this.

Then reflow those solder joints around the jack and you should be sweet. Solder does harden and crack over time.
