Re: NGD & N(ish)GD

What was your Ishibashi purchasing experience like? Piece of P!ss. Shipping was costly, but I still got a Korean made proper size Casino for the same price as the current casino coupes with laurel or whatever fingerboard in RS. Did they pack it safely? May I ask roughly how much shipping was? I've ...

Re: Les Paul Refinish Advice Please

Post spray, start sanding with say 800 grit until it's smooth. Then I go up to 1200 and then 2000. Then I go to 3000 and then 5000. Each sand is easier than the last. Finally, use car polish. The result is a flawless finish. Use wet and dry paper up to 2000, then at Wairau Paint buy two pads for sa...

Re: Les Paul Refinish Advice Please

Has potential to be excellent. You and your spraying gear will be the issue before the paint will be. As...

3D?
Textured.
It's the Gibson certificate of authenticity. The Chinese can't copy it.
Maybe if the USA took a page out of China's labour laws we might get some damn QC from Gibson.

Re: Swapping different fretted necks on a Start

I am interested to know any views on exchanging different numbered fretted necks ( 21,22 and 24 ) on different stratocaster body's . Like, irrespective of the existing setup, can it be possible to do this with or without moving the bridge position ? :? Interesting question. The scale lengths would ...
