Yet Another Butter Wouldn't Melt Video

Hi guys,

During the auckland floods we were booked for the folk festival which ended up completely under water but we managed to get a clip of this song in one of the old cow sheds at the kumeu show grounds and the acoustics came out pretty cool!

New Music Video, this time with the Gibson L-50

Hi all, We recently got some friends together from Napier to film a 1930s style video for one of our songs. It was pretty fun! These vintage car people seem to be able to get away with whatever they want, blocking main roads, taking over restaurant entrance ways etc. Thought I would post it for you ...

Mr Young and Mr Heath by any chance? I think there was a Mr Al Young there, if that's who you mean, but it was a Mr Craw who said it. He never has been gentle with his opinion about anything! Re: We released a single starring my old archtop

Lovely song and neat playing on that Apollo. Almost looks like it has the original frets, so tiny they are... What is the 1931 reference? Cheers mate. I think they might be original, probably needs a refret at this point. They are quiet low and as you said very tiny. It still intonates correctly bu...

Re: We released a single starring my old archtop

Gave it a like; I was just off to have dinner. I particularly enjoyed your playing and the archtop sounded perfect for the arrangement. What is it? Well done! Keep doing it. Thanks heaps mate, really means a lot. The archtop is a 1936 epiphone apollo, its one I posted about a while ago on...

Re: WWII Gibson L-50

Sorry mate, bad joke, NZSM is the nz jazz school in wellington. I didn't enjoy it very much and use it as a scapegoat when I get accused of getting too jazzy. The Pickguard seems to be in really good shape. Much better shape than my epiphones celluloid one. There's not a lot of clouding or disturban...

Re: WWII Gibson L-50

Very nice! In great shape and with the case patina, the set looks killa! Is the pick-guard original? Is it cellulose or plastic? A buddy of mine has a '50s era L-50 in very similar spec (strip tuners, same body build but all metal tail-piece, no OHC) but no pick-guard...never seen one. What styles ...
