How does it sound?

I looked up some demos but was reasonably underwhelmed…
Yeah, came from Simon. Haven't actually tried it yet and might be early next week before I get the chance

Re: MikeC Sixty-One SRT

High praise indeed, keep up the good work Mike. Sorry to read about the US drama, glad you had insurance which hopefully comes good and sorts it all out

What’s it like Molly, any good without the valves?

I have an Analogman Prince of Tone on the way, hoping it’ll pair well with the LP

Re: NGD: Gibson CS R6 Goldtop heavy aged

Congrats! Had been watching that one for a while. The one thing I like with relics is the non-need to be precious with them, probably not going to be an “oh shit” moment when it gets its first knock or ding

Oh and thanks for the reminder I need to get a Goldtop back in my stable. Enjoy :)

Re: Show us your pedalboard

I'm considering this route too. Analogue drives and a single multi fx to rule them all. My current pedalboard weighs a metric fuck-tonne. Yeah, I’m of the same mindset and think I’ll always have a pedal(s) for drive. But with regards to the effects side of things, the technology nowadays is so damn...

Re: Show us your pedalboard

I've scaled right back and am enjoying the simplicity for a while. The Headrush is purely being used for effects - couple of delays, couple of reverbs, leslie, chorus, flanger etc. Guitar is running into an old Dunlop wah that's been modded by Chur , then into a fuzz made by Chur , my old MIJ 80's B...

Yeah, that's as classy as I've ever got with regards to pickups (they were in my R8). Mighty fine tones within
