Joyo Bantamp zombie and a 1x12 cab. Great high gain sound for not much money. No option paralysis either

For me personally, if it has a Floyd it needs to be at least 1000 series which WAS around $1800 mark for a soloist in 2020 (now like 2 5k, thanks inflation) . I've had guitars with Floyd specials and while the guitar itself was great, the fine tuners were really stiff to adjust and the high e string...

Thanks very much! I just find plugins very convenient and only use my tube amps for fun these days.
On a separate note, has anyone tried any midi compatible plug-ins and set them up so you can change channels in amps or turn on and off delay etc? If so any recommendations on a midi controller

I had a go at covering Queens of the Stone Age using the Neural Dsp - Archetype Gojira Plugin. Turned the amp gain way down. Link below if interested cheers

Certainly agree with running 9's and using any extra fingers. A guitar with a shorter scale length should help a bit too.
