Dont think its the distortion....as when I plug in a differnet guitar its not as bad.
And Im pretty sure it didnt used to be like this.

Can something go worn with the pickups/wiring/shielding over time that could cause this?

Strings are new and Ive tried 009s and 010s

Hi Guys Wonder if you can help me. Lately Ive been noticing my TalonII is sounding kinda .... "Mushy???" As if a number of the notes are getting mushed together. Esp when distorted. At first I thought it was just my bad playing and maybe Im ringing other strings, but then I tried a few oth...

Lol crap i ment Johnson not clapton. Malmsteen isn't all that bad he's just misunderstood. I used to really not like Malmsteen as he had like 1 technique (super super fast picking). Then I saw the G3 with him in it. And he hasnt changed. (except get fatter....but so have I) THo I actually didnt min...
