Captain's Log, Day One. Got it working with the HX Stomp. Eventually. The fact that HX and Tonex have two separate power sources (ungrounded), plus two separate USB connections into my computer (via a USB hub) caused a tonne of grief. Seemingly sorted by presently using a Line 6 wireless guitar unit...

Oh and given I’m running it on a 64GB Mac Studio Ultra and using a Motu 828ES I/o interface I’m pretty sure it’s not a hardware capability thing (which they suggested initially)

Also, I bought it (not expensive promo as I also have AT5)… crazy latency and IKMultimedia support asks me a question each day to advance my support request but 10 days down and still no solution…

This year marks my 10th year with my kemper. And still my preferred hardware for gigging.

All of the above is good advice, but I'd caution against spending any more emotional energy on it/the buyer. You either need to decide to dig your toes in, or to let it go. If the buyer would cover the shipping cost (both what you will have paid to get it to them, and for them to pay to send it back...

He is being a dick. Imagine buying an Eric Johnson guitar and then suing because you don't sound like Eric when you play it...

But, that being said, I'm a real proponent of the theory that being right isn't always worth it.
