E30 to buy the iRig
E35 to ship one
E45 to ship two, three or four.
If say three others are interested in buying and sharing shipping, it means shipping costs us each E12 instead of E35. Anyone interested? If so, I'll buy and stump up with the cash up front and let you know when they arrive

Re: Trem Stabilizers
I've got a goldo backbox in my Musicman Axis and it works extremely well (I needed it because I wanted the trem to have some - even if slight - up movement but also have a D-Tuna). Just takes a bit of fiddling to get set up right the first time. Nice!! Where did you get it from? On the EvilBay of a...

Re: Your most loved guitar
My 1991 celebrity series Les Paul - identical to http://www.hendrixguitars.com/Gi100.htm except I lost the pickguard forever ago. Why? I bought this in 1991, with every cent I had plus maxxing out every available source of finance while I was at University - and used it extensively in the band I was...

Re: 2010 GAS list
Oooh how you finding the es137??? I'm gassing for one or something similar!!! Really nice. Not too big (my other guitars are Les Paul, Strat and an Axis so I'm not used to big guitars). Sounds really nice, and plays like a gem. Darn I was hoping it would be rubbish ;) This gives me so much wood!! h...

Re: 2010 GAS list
A few folks have mentioned new pickups so I thought I'd put a plug in for Bareknuckles. Good Mr Glyn has over the last few months supplied and installed some Rebel Yells in my Les Paul, and some Stormy Mondays in my ES137 and they are truly spectacular! Oooh how you finding the es137??? I'm gassing...

Re: Thinking about a Line 6 Spider IV...
I personally find all this 5W amp stuff kinda a nonsense unless you are actually recording. Sure, a 5W amp can sound plenty loud (someone correct me, but I think to put out twice the volume you need to go to 50W?) but then good luck getting a nice clean sound out of it. I agree with a comment earlie...

I vote Glyn
And not just because he has my musicman in his possession right now and could hold it hostage!

Re: Ultimate Covers Gigging Amp
None anymore, wife kids work yada yada Used to play in a band called Cartoon - but that was back in the day when we gigged regularly at the Corner Bar, Java Jive and various other places that are long gone... so now its just the occasional any event that gets me on stage. I really should look to fin...

Re: Ultimate Covers Gigging Amp
I've always been a fan of being able to put a speaker cab on each side of the stage (assuming you aren't in a venue that is set up well enough - or big enough - to have you mic'ed and going through the pa). In my experience that gives a fuller sound without having volume issues that many guitarists ...

Re: Best Sub 2k Combo?
The old "blue" Vox valvetronix amps (ad60vtx) are awesome when it comes to versatility and price so long as you get the additional accessory foot controller.
