Re: When you dislike your own music?

This is why I'm not in an original band. I don't feel like the songs I have written are actually worth listening to. So I play good songs written by others instead.

In theory, 2 cables is doubling the capacitance, and if the switchblade/fuzz is a true bypass, then you're running through two cables. Solution is a buffered pedal. However, if your hearing tone suckle from just two cables, either sounding is wrong or you have the ears of a god, because I certainly ...

Those are fucking brilliant guitars, congrats. I've long lusted after a 12 string one. The arched back is un like anything else, they are light, loud and just excellent guitars.

Yeah - we set up and Springsteened on Friday and then Pink Floyded and packed out on Saturday. On Sunday I was mostly broken and was not keen on the long drive from Taupo to Wellington. Finally made it back powered with many coffees.

Re: Fender joins the multi-effects and modelling world!

Just watched a couple of videos and I reckon it sounds like a POD 2.0 from over a decade ago. Not even in the ballpark of the Kemper or Iridium stuff

I got to work and true bypassed my new Whammy. Not because I desperately needed too, but more because I love a project and it’s more fun than watching tv.

A Whammy. One of those things you don't really want to pay for, but there's 3-4 songs that just require full WHAM. It will be true bypassed - I'm not that fussy but I have had one before and recall obvious tone-suck-age

Re: The Acoustic Thread

I tried a Furch guitar the other day. Crikey. Not quite my thing tonally but the sustain, tone, feel and intonation was all absolutely spot on. Really, really cool guitars, well checking out if you are in the market.
