Re: Convince me not to jump.
I prefer perf to vero -- a bit more work, but you don't have to worry about wankerous shorted tracks that are not cut properly.

Re: Lest we forget...
One of my biggest issues is a personality one though: I am a completist. I want one of everything. If you could argue that there is a defined set of pedal types (ignoring some of the whackier ones maybe), I feel like I should have one of everything. This is, of course, a bit of a fool's errand in m...

Well, either you did or you didn't. I find handing other people my money does an amazing job of concentrating my memory.StratMatt88 wrote:I think I just bought a EVH 5153 50w.

I suspect that this module would be AMAZING for processing sounds, along with normal filters and a fixed filter bank. Ben?

Re: multi meter reccomendations
I'd still buy a Fluke, you're looking at accuracy, repeatability and reliability. Yep ! and I wouldn't stick the probes of a $10 MM into an amp with 400-600 VDC floating about. That's the beautiful part, if it does shit the bed you're only out ten bucks (as long as you've observed proper safety pre...

Well, yeah, but it's Bootsy. He gets away with it, the same way that Rev Willy G gets away with furry guitars.

Re: Gimmick guitars
BG has 'more beer' on the back of his. Love it. Wasn't that Yngwie or Hetfield? I'd say the tipping point between custom and gimmick is whether the whole "look" is the overriding concern, like those god-awful cars in Pimp My Ride with televisions in the trunk (who the hell is going to sta...

Re: Show us your gig
Cool pedal steel! Those always make me think of Pink Floyd (One Of These Days) and Ministry's Jesus Built My Hotrod (the video has a guy playing one, who goes up the fretboard... keeps going... keeps going... until he falls sideway off the stool and the metal slide falls off the other side of the br...

Something I always wonder about...
If these mods make it such a better amp...
Why in hell do Vox not do this, stock?
