Re: Anyone Rocking Vintage Blackface?

I haven't found my Mike-C Deluxe Reverb to do its best work when fully cranked. It sounds great at 5-7 on the volume dial, especially when cutting bass and/or adding Klone/TS in front. Re: Anyone Rocking Vintage Blackface?

Grant B, Conway - you boys wind them up, or keep them clean?

Robbie - Bandmaster would stay pretty clean right? Maybe a little grit at the top of the dial?

Twins scare me.

Anyone Rocking Vintage Blackface?

Find myself wandering off down the Blackface rabbit hole.... Strikes me that I don't seem to recall having seen much in the way of vintage blackface around? Plenty of reissues. And a few clones (some of them great - Mike C!). And the Hotrod/Blues Deluxes/Deville's etc. And plenty of other brands (Me...

I feel the question that needs answering first is, are you:

Toyota -> Lexus?

or

Toyota -> 67 Mustang Fastback?

Re: lower output p90

You guys running volume on 10? I’m blaming my aging ears. I can’t accept the shave off of treble with backing off the volume. Treble bleed mod in residence ! But yes that’s a thing But why not modify a guitar when you modify a guitar right ? No judgment here :-) I just find it interesting. All the ...

Re: Molestation: An Ethical Perspective.

Its funny, I felt bad about routing out a bridge humbucker route in my strat, but at the end of the day I figured I'd rather have something that was going to be more useful and more likely to get picked up to play, and I have not looked back at all. I've been looking for a vintage strat with a HB i...
