Nooooo, don't do it, you know the one you currently have is the one for you
I say this as it's outlived many high end Gibbos :)

Re: Pedal Building Resources

Yer, if you have sausage fingers like me they save a heap of time and frustration! They are pretty handy. I used one in my one and only PedalPCB build and it worked a treat. I'd hazard to guess that unless you are an expert at desoldering or used the minimum amount of solder to secure the switch in...

Re: Pedal Building Resources

Finally got around to drilling the casing, my least fav job. (Well, that and labelling) Tried a few different opamps, settled on the TL072, but with the socket easy enough to swap. (Not much difference between most tbh) What other op-amps did you try out of interest? LM833 and NE5532 mostly, nothin...

Re: Pedal Building Resources

Bit warm to work outside, luckily found enough bits to make a Zendrive to fill a few hours this afternoon while enjoying a small breeze 😁

Re: NAD: Peavey Bandit, teal stripe.

My first amp was one of these, I even brought one again when I started playing again after a 20 yr break, mainly as I had no idea of what else to buy.

Heavy bloody amps, always remember carrying the 2x12 Chorus model too, seemed to make my arms longer..

Ah... I missed that bit. That goes a lot towards to lower price point then.
Good power rating on the second one in the list though!

Re: Show us your pedalboard

Laying my board out again as it was a royal cluster and with L4 etc why not, except I haven't finished :(

Anyone else right handed but prefer the wah to left? I've tried it to the right, but moving it back.

Re: Second amp for stereo?

Having ideas of running a stereo setup, I do love the AC10 so looking for something in a similar vein to compliment it, mostly after clean tones from both amps as I get all my dirt from pedals... Really liking the 10" speaker size so perhaps something like a DIY princeton? have never owned a f...

Re: NAD (kinda) Marshall SC20

Boosts really nicely with either a RAT or Crowther Hotcake. Might have to grab an SD-1 at some stage to see how that sounds. SD-1 into a JCM800 creates an instant happy place  Not really found a boost type pedal they don't like though. Looking forward to trying one. Definitely found it to ...
