Re: What's on your work bench?
Picked up ani e old Stanley No.4 today, now I have two of the buggers. But this came with original box and manual! After a clean, flatten, sharpen its shaving paper thin. I love using sharp hand tools, they’re a pleasure. I’d love to complete the set, I’ve got 4, 4 1/2, 5, 6 and a 7 in various stat...

Re: TC's build thread
Nice work but why do you put two extra uprights in on the photo on the left and for the one on the right, I see an extra top and bottom bit of ply?

Re: neck pocket routing/general routing
I’ve got a neck pocket that is 1.5mm too small, and needs an angled cut. I could slowly sand it, but am not sure I’ll get it perfect. Is the pocket too small or the neck too big? Which one is the more expensive, neck or body? Has the body been finished? All neck pockets have an 'angled cut' as the ...

There is this bad boy close by https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/marketplace/building-renovation/tools/power-tools/drills-screwdrivers/listing/4462328575 Can't see the brand on this one. If it were an old Tanner or Dyco it might be worth restoring. Observations: Shaft corroded, needs work to make the tab...

Re: neck pocket routing/general routing
Kerry @ Chaoz guitars could also no doubt do it, it's just routing a neck pocket. Pretty basic stuff for a regular fender style (no neck angle). Thanks Terry, now that's a recommendation - although not sure if it was supposed to only sound like I could do it because it was easy :crybaby: I'm not in...

Re: SEAVERB outboard reverb tank thread
It'll be fine assuming voltage rating of caps is suitable. I think they’re all 450v Thanks, sorry was probably a silly question No, it was a perfectly valid question. I just didn't want to provide a diagnosis without knowing all the facts :geek: You should go into politics, facts are religion there...
