It looks like it will do everything I need for now.

Fingers crossed for a speedy delivery.

Bass practice amp suggestions?

I haven't had any guitars at home over lockdown, so have started playing some bass.

I have been finding it relatively enjoyable, so I am looking to get a practice amp in the $4 - 600 range.

What would you recommend?

Re: Dimebag to finally cut ties with Dean Guitars

Dean Guitars still has the entire Dimebag range listed.

It will certainly be interesting to see how it plays out.

Re: Out of Phase Wiring

Nope. The bridge pickup is worse.

The ground wire is attached to the copper base plate, which is attached to the mounting screws, which are attached to bridge, which is attached to your strings.

Re: Out of Phase Wiring

Like JB said BUT.....

The neck pickup cover will then be attached directly to hot. If you touch it, it will buzz like a MF.

You should detach the pickup cover from the ground wire and solder on its own independent one, which should then be sent to ground.

Re: Solder tips tips

I believe a good guide is to start with a tip that is about as wide as the hole you are soldering.

From there, try larger and smaller to see what works better.

You may also be able to use lower temperatures as the larger tips hold heat better.
