Just gonna say I think that is a massive job that will be way harder than you expect. I'd be prepared to put in lots of hours and lots more money than the guitar is worth. Good luck....

It is a thing that some Les Pauls are just biatches for tuning...and some (my '68 RI for eg) rarely go out of tune no matter what you throw at them.
