Re: hifi / networking geeks please

If mobile data speeds are good, then get an RBI modem for your home WiFi and just run an ethernet cable out of that. All the mobile operators will have a version.

Also known as FWA (Fixed Wireless Access).

Re: Demo of Mike's Sixty-One SRT Amplifier

You fool, what have you done? Now you'll have to actually play guitar! I play guitar every day! OK it's normally just a few minutes on my daughter's little 3/4 scale SG when she goes to bed, which she will patiently wait for me to play for a bit, then take the guitar off me and tell me it's...

Re: Demo of Mike's Sixty-One SRT Amplifier

Robroy has kindly agreed to help record it with his set up and we should be able to get the Dairy Flat hall to make some decent noise, so will confirm once you have it back. My demo vids skills are questionable, but I will do my best to do it justice... You fool, what have you done? Now y...

Re: Demo of Mike's Sixty-One SRT Amplifier

Does sound rather tasty, would love to hear it with a decent boost/OD pedal in front of it and some more aggressive humbuckers. I thought those LP humbuckers were pretty aggressive, but then again I want to replace them with a Doug Aldrich set. I think that amp would do a killer high gain...

Re: YouTube goodness

Some of the coffee channels I follow have done vids on how they make a living from youtube, it's interesting hearing how it works for content creators who make enough for it to be their main source of income. One mentioned he took a week off, posted nothing and came back to find his channel had fall...

Re: Top Albums Of 2023

My best albums of 2023 were mostly recorded in the 90s.

Re: Directory listing for guitar repairs, services etc.

I think he'd just like it done pro because it's a new guitar and the first he's bought in a while. I probably could do it, but I understand that with someone new, you may want a more experienced hand over it.... just not $250 worth of experience. Last I checked, something like that was around 80-12...
