Re: Help me arrange my pedalboard

JB has it. Use the LS2 to make a clean loop and a dirty loop. Then use the reverb to stereo-ize and off to the amps. Very cool.

Re: Anyone like bass guitars?

I came into the ownership of an old Ibanez Blazer on the weekend. High action, strings only a couple years younger than the dinosaurs. Looking forward to having a decent bass around the house.

Re: These are a few of my favourite things. UAFX Lion!

I'm not a Vox guy, but the Chime setting on the Iridium sounds the least convincing to my ears. Same with the Boss GT line. Bias FX did ok in that respect. Wonder why Vox sounds seem hard to model. Interesting. I have noted the same a few times, scrolling through various amp modeller settings. I la...

I used to think that, until I got a Stymonious Deco. Fully digital and a fabulous overdrive/proeamp thing

Re: When you dislike your own music?

This is why I'm not in an original band. I don't feel like the songs I have written are actually worth listening to. So I play good songs written by others instead.

Re: Pedalboard tone suckage woes

In theory, 2 cables is doubling the capacitance, and if the switchblade/fuzz is a true bypass, then you're running through two cables. Solution is a buffered pedal. Those are fucking brilliant guitars, congrats. I've long lusted after a 12 string one. The arched back is un like anything else, they are light, loud and just excellent guitars.

Yeah - we set up and Springsteened on Friday and then Pink Floyded and packed out on Saturday. On Sunday I was mostly broken and was not keen on the long drive from Taupo to Wellington. Finally made it back powered with many coffees.

Re: Fender joins the multi-effects and modelling world!

Just watched a couple of videos and I reckon it sounds like a POD 2.0 from over a decade ago. Not even in the ballpark of the Kemper or Iridium stuff
