In Rainbows is my favourite album of all time, without a single doubt. I listen to it every week and have done ever since it came out. I've always loved Colin Greenwood's song-carrying tones, but especially the more recent 73 P Bass + Ashdown or Ampeg rig. Chester Hansen of Badbadnotgood is another hero of mine. Chorus is quite good if you only have one melodic instrument, it can give songs a bit of space and movement. Or if you want to sound like you found your bass tone inside a bath tub

I don't really use many effects for covers; a bit of overdrive, maaaaaybe some chorus. I'm keen on an envelope filter but am saving for a Moogerfooger, because they're the only ones I like.
