That he does, haha. I've been to shows some nights where he was in 4 of the bands playing. Yeah, he's with our White Zombie / Rob Zombie tribute act as well.

Re: Any Tremelo-No Experiences?
I use one in an iceman I replaced the trem in. Locked to downward only so I can also use a D-Tuner thingy on the top string. Works well when set up correctly in my experience.

Re: NGD: Ibanez SZ320MH
I have a black SZ320, I did end up swapping pickups out for my partners preference, but it plays nice, always been real solid.
Re: Youshop
It's gone up in price so much, it's my option of absolutely last resort now.

Re: The NZG MTS Thread
Well the head comes with 3 modules. Blackface, Tweed and Top Boost. No hi-gain ones left but that's all good. So I went for it. Can I be part of the gang now guys? :mental: Pretty sure I still have a currently unused 'Recto' module sitting around here. Could be up for a swap of something unrelated.

Re: How to help my kid play Bass
When I picked up a bass, after playing guitar for many years, I grabbed RockSmith (the game/cable) to learn with. Loved it, and gave me a bit more of a grounding in playing bass like a bass player rather than a guitarist faking it. I really do recommend it for bass learning.

Re: Mics for guitar cabs. What has impressed you the most?
Been hearing some excellent things about the very cheap superlux pra-638 condensor (Music Planet) in a live situation. Cuts really nicely in a live mix. And also comes with a gooseneck clamp/adapter. And is $99.

Re: Projectors... any suggestions?
I've got a few projectors from a lighting setup we used to do with one of my bands. I'll say now that it's very hard to get a projector that won't be washed out by stage or bar lights for any reasonable cost. I used to run 2 Viewsonic PJD5555W ones (mounted together for additional brightness, about ...

Re: Replacing Les Paul pots - suggestions
Ah, nice. If I can even support some local manufacturing, that's better. Now to see whether I installed splittable pickups back in the day.

Replacing Les Paul pots - suggestions
2007 Les Paul Custom Classic (SD Custom Custom (bridge), SD Pearly Gates (neck). Pretty happy with the tone, but starting to get some scratchyness in the pots that my deoxit isn't coping with. Figured I'd replace the pots/jack/caps and maybe the selector while I'm at it. I'd like to get the best qua...

Re: Mics for guitar cabs. What has impressed you the most?
I personally like a Beta 57 / Fathead mix. Beta 57 gets that crunchy presence, and the Fathead adds a bit of fullness and warmth. I can't recall my Fathead being too spendy though, what do they go for these days? Some people hate the Beta 57 vs a plain 57. Bunch of people like the Sennheiser 906. I'...

Re: The NZG MTS Thread
I'm semi-interested in an RM4. I don't NEED it, but it would be nice to have at the right price. I have a stock Recto still sitting around that no-one wants, haha.
