Whats with all these bands suddenly coming to NZ. There was hardly anyone touring over there when I left, now it seems almost everyones jumping over for a show.

In other news, I now have my maiden ticket, soon to get my dreamtheater ticket and my soundwave ticket, all I need to get now is my plane ticket back over here...
I've been trying to justify you, in the end I will just defy you.

Anyone know any other rumours about this?

the promoter was quoted in the paper as saying 'there'll be something for everyone' So far we've got Ozzy and Kiss, however Van Halen would be interesting...

Not very broad so far.

thats what I'm hoping. And well he is Ozzys main guitarist.

Supposedly there are 2 more big names that will be announced. But I must see Ozzy live!
AFK.

Why wouldn't he bring Zakk? He's a mainstay of Ozwald's band.

No reason to leave him behind unless that anti pinch harmonic bill goes through.

Was an article in the morning paper about how church groups are outraged that Lordi's lyrics are satanist, Ozzy bit the head of a dove, and Kiss is gory. All of which is going to 'dampen the festive mood' on Easter weekend. I can see why they're taking that stance, but noone's forcing them to go and i'll happily take the seats for them!

yeah its pretty weak...I thought all that sort of church verses metal was all done and dusted in the 80's.......lets hope they announce "cradle of filth" and "dimmu borgir" as acts that are coming, that would give the christies something to bitch about

Noone kicked up a fuss when Cannibal Corpse played San Fransisco bathhouse in 2006? heck Behemoth are here this weekend... why isn't that worrying people?

Kinda reminds me of Frank Zappa vs. the US Government back in 85' arguing about censorship, and how 'Frankie Goes To Hollywood' was a band with subliminal messages, Judas Priest were also accused of this. Glenn Tipton replied 'We can't even spell Subliminal' !!

Now, if only the metallists could get together and complain about Brian Tamaki on telly corrupting the young metal kids....
He hit a chord that rocked the spinet and disappeared into the infinite ...
