Whole Lotta Led at the Bathhouse
Huge fun. I couldn't fault it musically, great sounding and very zep-like. Good costumes and zep stage moves. The singer was really good, plant-like sounds and had all the hand-turning and suggestive eyebrow expressions going on. Much leaning back and hand-raising from the guitarist, triumphant strum-and-point etc. The mix was good, effective use of delay on the guitar and vocals where appropriate. Overall a great laugh.

Oh, I didn't realize they were a proper stage show. I stand corrected, thought they were just a cover band. Some Bozo wrote:Huge fun. I couldn't fault it musically, great sounding and very zep-like. Re: Whole Lotta Led at the Bathhouse
Not sure I'd call it a stage show, just a covers band that looks the part

Tribute band really which means they usually dress and act the part. I went along with Some Bozo and thoroughly enjoyed it. If you like Zep and get a chance to see them, get along!Vince wrote:Oh, I didn't realize they were a proper stage show. I stand corrected, thought they were just a cover band.

Was loud but not unusually. Not very good at recognising marshalls by sight, head had more knobs on it than the old ones and was a bit more modern sounding than page's tone. "Modern" meaning about 1980robnobcorncob wrote:What kind of backline did they have? non master volume marshalls ?

It was a JCM 2000 into a quad of some description. Some Bozo wrote:Was loud but not unusually.
