They show you a bunch of drool-inducing gear, talk about it to give you some insight, play a bit to make you go "woah that sounds good" and give you a chance to have some Q&A from a guy that knows his stuff in his field.twangnsnarl wrote:So, what happens at these 'clinics?'
It's designed to make you want to buy stuff, but there is no hard sell at all.

I figured as much since the guy is VP of marketing. Still, sounds like a good way to spend an evening - especially as it's free.NZRS_Matt wrote:

Booked in for this, the Taylor one I went to a while back was brilliant, and a great way to spend a couple of hours in an evening and get to see and hear loads of guitars and gear

It's actually like an STD clinic, except they treat and cure people that have a Telecaster or anything in the Gretsch line-up.NZRS_Matt wrote:They show you a bunch of drool-inducing gear, talk about it to give you some insight, play a bit to make you go "woah that sounds good" and give you a chance to have some Q&A from a guy that knows his stuff in his field.twangnsnarl wrote:So, what happens at these 'clinics?'

The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.
