Alice Cooper - Feb 2020
Just been posted on my facebook feed, Alice is coming to CHCH in Feb next year, assuming they'll be doing Auckland at least.
That'll be a brilliant show down here in CHCH, Horncastle should be a good size for the show, especially if they cut the arena down in size a little like they did for Slash etc.
Never seen a bad Alice Cooper show and the youngster is a big fan of Welcome to My Nightmare.

Yes most definitely, and seeming to be better than ever from what I can seechur wrote:Cool, think I'll get tickets for that. Is Nita still touring with him?

Re: Alice Cooper - Feb 2020
I was a little disappointed the other day when they did her solo rig rundown and it was guitars and a Boss board. Nothing against modelers etc, but I like watching them for the pedals/amps more than guitars, so it was a little bit of a bummer.sty wrote:Yes most definitely, and seeming to be better than ever from what I can seechur wrote:Cool, think I'll get tickets for that. No one ever died of hard work.. but why take the risk..

I believe they were running it as a fly tour so no amps/cabs. I think that's how she does all her personal tours/clinics. She runs a rack mounted multi effects with her Alice rig too.chur wrote:I was a little disappointed the other day when they did her solo rig rundown and it was guitars and a Boss board. Recommended. Saw Alice when he opened for Crue, and he (and the band) blew them offstage. Three thumbs up, would trade again.

Seen him 4 times previously, and going to again. Although the show is pretty much the same each time, he's got some fantastic tunes to scream along too.

I'll go for Nita alone, the rest is just a bonus. Gutted she doesn't do meet and greet beforehand like she used to, saw her last time but didn't realise it was a free for all and didn't go over.
