I'm glad to hear this. I know in the past the singer has had some personal issues and been pretty terrible on stage. Stoked that it sounds like he's got things together.

Re: The Feelers Gig @ Paraoa Brewing 6th August
Whangaparaoa really went downhill about 3 years ago, some really dodgy people moved there and have been causing problems since. (I've told my wife and kids they need to behave better, but they don't listen...)
Paraoa is the bar that managed to open in perfect time for the Covid lockdowns, I'm surprised they managed to survive, but we're bloody lucky to have it as a venue. With that and the Beer Spot, I'm almost spoilt.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Paraoa is a great venue for gigs! First time there and it was so spacious unlike where I used to go in the city King’s Arms
Also being local is such a bonus!

Yeah it is big and that PA could probably fill Spark Arena. I went to an open mic night there with RobRoyMcCoy, the whole set up is massive overkill, but very much in a good way.

I was a big fan of the feelers back in the day, but then I heard in recent years James was on the bottle quite a bit and someone went to a gig here in chch and he was barely able to sing he was so smashed

How was James doing? He looked fucked when I met him a few years back. Hungover as shit and sleeping in a tent in the back garden because his wife kicked him out.
