Oh, by the way. If someone lost a pair of sunglasses (CD knows what brand they were) I think they will be with the bar staff at the venue still.

I think it was probably 10:50 - breakfast time :D thats my local ;)

I emptied the bar of Boddingtons last night so although I should have been ropey today, I'm actually quite chipper again. I woke up at 9:05 am then had a snooze for an hour until CD got up.

Good party last night, I thought my ears should be ringing but they aren't too bad. As for the Splawn timidity, it was actually pretty difficult to cut down the feedback at that volume level  and nobody gave me a training course on the controls - didn't quite figure out the channel switching and boost worked. Its an excellent amp though and I feel priviledged to have got to play it! Thanks very much Mr CustomAudioBoutique!

All the bands played superbly, and I'm sure Aperzahn have really surpassed themselves - although they were great last time I saw them, the new songs are brilliant. Kristie and her flying spider fingers sounded fantastic through the XXX and the Ibanez combination. I reckon there was some very envious people in the audience.

My 9 1/2 min solo was more like 1 1/2 - I don't believe I was in the zone for that long :P

Hopefully we'll get a few more along next time peeps!

Ape-rzahn? They're not that hairy, although the prehensile tails were a bit of a surprise. Handy for those tapping moments where two hands aren't enough.

the new songs are brilliant.
I really like the one with no name.

Yeah I really liked the one with no name too. It was in some kinda compound time signature I think, but the vocal were what I liked best.

Yeah you're right. I was thinking about saying something age related, or something about his accent, or even the size of his hangover to lose an hour somewhere but he's bigger than me and lives close to me, plus he did put on a good show last night.

No, it's just that i'm from Wgtn, and we don't get to see the sun that often ;)

Cheers to all involved for a great evening. Highlights would have to be:

- The Debutantes lead singer convulsing on the stage floor while playing keyboards :)
- Kristie's tapping wizardry
- A last minute solo spot that i couldn't even hear with The Mysterons ( I hope i was in the right key) :).

I thought that 'Disaster Area' were the universe's loudest band, but Cap'n Black could show them a thing or two :)

Dude, you looked like you were in the right key. Hell, I wrote the damn song and I'm not even sure if I was in the right key. :D

oooooooooooooo Ash, you're in deep shit now. I just texted Kristie to ask how she felt about you describing her as Prehensile Tail.
