The Smiles Xmas Eve

Post by crowbgood1 »

As part of the festival of lights (a must see in itself!) The Smiles are performing at the "Hatchery Lawn" stage.
We will start at 7.30PM with front man "Big Daddy Danial" doing an Acoustic set.

Then....a big surprise for all as "the all new band" come on and rock it up.

So if your in the area come along to this spectacular venue..bring a picnic dinner and a bottle of wine and enjoy a great evening with us.

The Hatchery is a cool place, I've played there several times. Played at the bowl a few times also.
When I was a kid, the Hatchery used to be a lake with untold frogs.

Pukekura Park was one of my playgrounds - we did all sorts of things that we'd get arrested for these days - including sitting on the terraces with herb tea and cookies - giggling hysterically at all the straights....

BTW - kudos for resisting the urge to make your name end with a silly 'z' thereby dooming it forever.

CANCELED... gutted.
Been raining cats and dogs all day. Cleared half an hour after promoters pulled the pin. Told them it would. What would a fisherman know about the weather ? :(
