Looks like lots of fun, but I don't trust myself near a pub just yet. 11.3 months into my 12 month booze ban. I think I'll carry it on into next year.
Maybe I could just drink lemonade and have willpower.
Good luck for the gig if I don't make it.

So what about us folk that can't make it? Any way to get a copy of the CD? I'd be well keen..Capt. Black wrote:Very excited about the CD giveaway actually.

Yes it's mainly about Kristie. This is a thinly disguised going away party where Kristie will apologise to everyone she has ever offended or turned down and then she will drink heaps and then she will get up for guest spot with the Mysterons. Singing. Not guitar. Just singing.... and being awesome. and so is Plum Green. Awesome, and singing a song with the Mysterons.
But yeah, be there to see Kristie. Bring extra ciggies.

Hmmm fair question. The CD is a giveaway to people who attend the gig. a kind of thanks for your support. The agreement with the bands is that it's only available on that basis. Not a commercial release. So perhaps the best idea is to get a friend in AK to come along to the gig on your behalf and then send you their copy.

So lovely friends of the forum attending this gig... who wants me to pay your entry fee so you can send me your copy

That would take way too long! How about everyone just assumes I'm possibly sorry and buys me drinks, and then I spend the time drinking insteadCapt. Black wrote:Kristie will apologise to everyone she has ever offended or turned down

fucking fucking fuck. It's not about anyone else for fuckety fucks sake...
Though I may be willing to hobble a little less 'deity' like on the night.
My new robocop-boot enables me to transtport the full bladder to the wastage site a bit easier, so if I come I expect at a bar stool made available for my ongoing use, preferably with a 'reserved' sticker on it.
I'd quite like a shrubbery too.

Its not enough that we succeed, we still need others to fail

Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

Awesome man. Could you do us a favour and pick up a shrubbery on the way? Cheers.
