show was a lot of fun! we didnt make any mistakes which is always a good thing.

Behemoth were abolutely amazing live. It's worth checking out their videos on youtube. I was interested to see how it would translate live but they sounded huge, and have a massive stage presence. Not usually into the theatrics of black/death metal myself but they pulled it off perfectly.

Live photos are up now!

Though you do have to tell your bass player that bright yellow ear plugs isn't very metal....

I think if you want to play the hardcore metalz in a band like that, you'd have to be! Conceivably if you audition for them and are sans-tatts/piercings, they immediately grab you and hold you down, grab a hammer and chisel, tattoo you Samoa-styles and then stretch out your ears...

I would not last one minute in a death metal band... (or whatever the appropriate genre name is)

That said, I just looked at the pics, and no one else seems to have the same magnitude of body art. XCaptainX, you're just hardcore mate

Wow, your singer scares me. His biceps are the size of my thighs. Both of them.

haha Slash; yeah my tats are a bit 'excessive'. Unfortunately I think my GAS overflows into my tattoos. As soon as I get one, I want another! I'm covered in unfinished work

oh I did make one mistake; out of sheer nervousness about doing my first attempt at solos in a band; I didnt press my wah down hard enough and was wahless the whole time, haha. Luckily it wasnt at a detriment to the solo itself, but I felt like a bit of a prat, haha. God I would love some in ear monitors, hah.

Nah nothing against that, I've got a fair share of mates who are covered in them. I'm still working towards designing/selecting the one or two that I would like to get done eventually.

Now, excessive piercings, those do kinda creep me out a little. Nobody needs 14 rings/studs/whatever on the one ear. Yechh.

Heh, switchless wah for the win! Good job on doing solos in your new band, always fun! Any vids of this gig up on the Youtube?

I guess that post-metal band career in corporate law is definitely off the table now then?...

Oh maybe not, you can spruce yourself up a bit and people will be fine with it. Take this guy for example.

not sure if anyone was taking videos but I could ask around. Hopefully someone was, haha.

Luckily we are in the position to demo all of our songs so hopefully we can keep a 'rotating roster' of myspace tracks up. Will be my first time tracking lead work as well, kinda daunting but it should be fun. Decided to get a floyd rose now after having a self indulgent hoon on a beautiful NJ Deluxe Warlock. Hahaha expect to hear a lot of wankage!
