wish the Dunedin show wasn't at Chicks, such a mission to get out there, especially in a cast, would love to catch them.

Note to forum members who want to ever tour and play in Dunedin, if you want it to be worth your while and have people come, don't do it at chicks, unless you are a super popular (read; super indy and therefore hip) with the dunedin crowd, 90% of gig going people down here won't bother going all the way out there, no matter how good the band is

I rerember seeing a message from Nato (the drumer from BW) saying something about a bus from somewhere to somewhere....and now i assume its to chicks and back.

he was looking into the idea.

not sure if its going ahead or not.

where is chicks? im assuming AGES away from Dunedin.

which makes me think....why have a gig there?

Port Chalmers, so maybe a 35 min drive from the centre of town, which might not seem much but when most people either don't have a car or have to drive 15-20 min just to get to town it ads up.

Sometimes gigs are great there for example DieDieDie always pull a huge crowd but most of the time your lucky to get more than 15 people, whereas gigs in town you are looking more like at least 40 people and up unless there are lots of gigs on or something. I think the main reason a lot of touring bands play chicks is they can stay the night there. I know I'd never want to put on a headlining gig for us there and we're FROM dunedin

Gutted I won't be able to make it to the Wellington gig, as I'm performing in the comedy fest then (Highbrow, Lowbrow, Monobrow - if anyone's a comedy punter).

Will/when will the album be available for purchase on Bandcamp? Very keen to pick it up.

stage is pretty tiny, something like Re:Fuel or Sammys would be way better, although Sammys tends to look a little empty unless it's packed due to the size, even if you have like 100 people it can still look empty
