I need to borrow a bass rig, this monday night - WELLINGTON

Post by robnobcorncob »

Hey guys,

My band has a short notice gig (booked by some no-brains organiser who doesn't know what a P.A is.. ) at Frank Kitts Park as a part of the annual ZOMBIEFEST/Zombie walk this Monday September 8th, 2008.

*edit* bass rig found, looks like I'll be playing through a Mesa walkabout and 4x10 cab. Sweet!

Sounds like an interesting event, has the organiser sussed a low key PA for you or something?

What band are you in?

Nope, organiser doesn't know what a P.A is. Basically we got the gig yesterday, 2 days notice to get a backline + a P.A and a soundguy. It's a fundraiser so we're probably going to be losing more money on gear hire + sound guy than the entire event will raise (negative attitude I know... ) if it rains then it's cancelled. Come on rain.... The band is called Chesapeake. Just some metal/hardcore outfit I'm filling in on bass for temporarily.
