Picked up the latest Mötley Crüe live DVD Carnival Of Sins yesterday at the Warewhare, not a bad deal for $13. 8)

Pretty wicked live show alright, complete with fire-breathing midgets, hot babes, onstage custom motorbikes, super duper pyro, aerial trapeze nuttery, more hot babes, Tommy Lee flying up to play two drum kits in the rafters, did I mention hot babes etc. And the band being dressed and made up to look like freaks, living dead and zombies. Except Mick, who doesn't need the makeup.

How often do people watch their music DVD's??? Have been tempted but then thought 'nah you'd probably watch it once and that would be it' like the TV series ones I've bought - still got umpteen to look at.

So do you watch them once or once a night or what???

ONG had this sudden vision of the ultimate DVD of Jan Ackerman and the Topp twins having a yodeling constest - NOT a pretty thought.
You can't do THAT on stage!

I only own about five music DVDs, because of that very reason. I make sure the ones I do bother to buy are ones I'm mad keen on so they do get watched. G3 Live In Denver I've probably watched about ten times, Roger Waters is well on the way.

That Crüe DVD is bloody good actually, well filmed and a great stage show.

it differs with me ..some I have only watched the once, but that is mainly because I watch the ones I prefer a lot more often...but if I was completely honest with myself I shouldn't spend so much on them...
I have quite a few covering a few different styles of music, so moods come into what I watch....plus Mrs Sydknee has to be considered when choosing what to play (and before your dirty minds get too active I mean DVD's)...all in all perhaps rentals are a better option......but I guess I'll still get the itch everytime I see one I want and buy

I'm lucky in that my wife has her silly DVDs she likes to watch, so she watches those and I go in the other room and watch some of my "horrible heavy metal". Queensrÿche and such.
