Just an acoustic, he's got far too much taste to play an LP ;)

No, unfortunately he only arrived while we were playing, and then was gone straight from the stage. :(
what we've got here is failure to communicate... some men you just can't reach

No, you're thinking of Lindsay Buckingham.

don't worry about it, he took over 30 minutes to come up with that line - prior to that it just said 'just an acoustic' ;)

I've just been talking to another staff member who didn't go, 'cos she'd seen EC about 20 years ago when he was falling over drunk all the time and that spoiled her concept of him forever. Anyway, I digress ~ I said that I thought the show was a smegging enjoyable guitar wankfest. It took her some time to understand what wankfest meant. I'm still blushing at all the sexual innuendo she was saying.

Rog, shocked that young ladies would discuss such matters with me ~

his drunken/cocaine period coincided with his switch to fenders, he also played them exclusively during the Phil Collins phase - spooky eh? ;)

Plus LPs are one-trick ponies and EC likes a bit of tonal variation.
