Lately I have been recording lots of guitar with this microphone and did some AB testing with my Shure sm 57. What I found is I actually prefer the GLS over the good old Sm 57.

yeah a great alternative to the sm57 and less than half the price. Highly recommended :)

I have three of these mics. Better and more extended top end than the SM57.

I know the SM57 is the go to for most people but I find them underwhelming compared to something like a e906…
