York Audio ir's = good.

Post by dylan »

Im sure that most already know about the York Audio i.r's but just in case -

You know how you endlessly roll ir's hoping to find one thats a magical "better" button?

The York ir's are as close to that as i have seen.

And you only get around 50 files per samplerate (including all the combinations of things), because he just includes the shots that he thinks sound worthwhile, so auditioning them is way way easier.

I do not know if it was charity or marketing brilliance, but his $1 Covid special has hooked most of the people who buy it into paying for a full pack...

Yeah I bought one of the York Audio 2x12 packs, it sounds pretty good. Although I have IRs from heaps of different company’s and I’ve gravitated towards a particular set of 62 Blues from Tone Junkie and a Greenback 4x12 Cab from own hammer combined in a 60% left/60% right stereo mix on my HX Stomp.
I would like to try some of the other York Audio because every where I read online described them very favourably as well.
