I think that wall wart job is part of the sound floor elimination thing though, isn't it? Keeping 230v away from the pedal area. My Warwick Rock thingy has the 18v at the wall with some tricky shit in it, and then it sends that to the distribution unit, which also has tricky shit in it that adds another round of noise reduction trickiness. If not, I have just imagined I read that somewhere.
I have a T rex blue one on my main board. That's also silent. So yeah...who knows.
