Alvarez FD60

I play mine constantly, and it's a great sounding guitar, well made for the money. Both playing chords and soloing,it's a breeze to play. The semi-slim profile is easy for playing strapped while still retaining a good tone.Add some elixer strings and it sounds that much better. For price and craftmanship,I give this guitar ****1/2 stars out of 5.

elixers are just the best huh? they feel like someone's just sneezed on the strings.... but in a good way. they're the best I've tried on my acoustics.

haha, well here is a chance to rip on me,cause actually mine is a discontinued funky green.Basketcase I paid $550 ,though the black and natural colors go for less.On line stores will show availabilty.I have tried Ibanez, certain Martins and such and I really think the fd60 is a better deal. Most Takamine's in that price range didn't play or sound as good, though I love my Takamine 12string.Anyway,thought that it would be cool to post some thoughts on the Alvarez.Mt only worry was that 2 piece neck but it hasn't been a issue. DAZA? PAY ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
