Thinking more about this, there's probably no way the new guard retainer screw holes will align with what you've got on the body. I'd suggest leaving the holes off the new guard and make a paper pattern/template of existing screw placement. Drill afterward.

I looked at getting a custom pickguard for my Strandberg last year, I ended up talking to Geoff Wilson at 3Dworx who has a sweet-sounding CNC setup that would do the job.
I had previously bought some sheets of pickguard material from AliExpress that were very reasonably priced. Which I still have, if anyone's interested in them.
