By the way, where does the RR's neck joint into body, I mean which fret?

Thanks for posting the pics Greg. The pics look quite close, although a little more orange to what it looks like in reality. I think it resembles a ripe nectarine in person.

Here are some pics of the paua inlays on Kloppsta's CK1. The 19 peice paua 'CK' inlay started out gold coloured, but by the time I had levelled it all out the colour was blue/green just like the rest. The wood has had its first couple of coats of oil. Its all taking alot longer than I expected. The thin paua is much harder to work with than thick MOP, although the raw material is cheaper. I can say for sure that NO one will be getting paua purfling for the price Craig paid ever again!!
