the Original LoTRS was a good bridge. not many about though.
annnd the screw in bar of the OFR is why I love them so much, you can have the bar sit where ever you need it with a slight twist of the screw on collar.

There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

I never put the bars in... in that respect I should be buying Ibanez MTMs, I really like the Fixed Edge trem idea on those.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

I find they end up slackening off though and wobbling in the hole (oh-err) if you give them a good pounding (fnarrr)mrmofo wrote:the Original LoTRS was a good bridge. not many about though.

I fidget with the collar constantly, tightening, loosening, and trying to get it to sit just right.Bg wrote:I find they end up slackening off though and wobbling in the hole (oh-err) if you give them a good pounding (fnarrr)mrmofo wrote:the Original LoTRS was a good bridge. not many about though.

yea I know what you mean
I like it 90`deg to the lower strap button, out of the way from the furious wrist work

If you like em stiff and they've got wobbly (ahem), cut a ballpoint pen spring in half, or similar and stick that in the hole. Keeps the pressure on the thread up....like a cock-ring.
