I haven't blocked and all is satisfactory for me. But then again, you're far better than me on guitar and might notice a difference?

but you're much older and therefore much more wise :D I've never tried blocking either hence the question, I don't seem to use the whammy as much as I used to either so its tempting to put a block in and try it......

It would probably have taken you less time to cut a little wedge and jam it in the back than it did to concoct this thread and think about it. Block away :D

yeah I know, only I've left my belt sander round at the rental unit, so it would have been a 10 minute drive ;)

Be daring and simply tighten the 6 bridge mounting screws up tight - that way when you forget and do your wild Jimmy imitation mid gig the wang bar will snap off in your hand!

You could then either cry, stab TMG 03 to death with it or post it off to Rog who really does not want it but is too good mannered to say anything.

In the meantime, can I reccomend a ferret down the trousers? no - OK! your loss.
You can't do THAT on stage!

bg, I have blocked and non blocked the same guitars, and although "tone memory" is a somewhat intangeable matter, I personally could not tell the difference...but I was using pine. Maybe if you used something like a piece from a '62 Strat, or even a slice of maple from the top of a Les Paul it might be different!
