Hey guys.
I've just been looking at my Frankenstrat and I've noticed the neck is not sitting flat in the neck pocket. The high E side is sitting higher than than the low E side. So my neck is on a bit of an angle.
Is that angle meant to be there? Should i add a shim to the neck to try and balance it out?
I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes to the playability of the guitar, but I thought I would ask you guys before I start to worry about it.
I took a photo if that helps you picture it. It's not the best but you might but it might help.
Yeah you can't really tell from the photo, but if you look in person it's noticable.

You're better off with no shim and an angle than you are level but with a shim propping up the neck.
