How much is a re-fret?

Anyone done one and happy to share a price? I got a LP 70s trib with pokey frets, just wondering if its worthwhile changing them.

Expect around $400 for a proper job!

Yeah $350 - $400. It's quite a lot of work.

You can sometimes get by with a good re-crowning of the "Pokey" (square ish profile) Gibson frets, as opposed to a full re-fret. I've re-crowned a few this way with good results, which can make them a lot more comfortable to play.
