Re: Offset chat
I think the green would look good and I'm thinking a gold foil for a neck pickup. Won't be a JR then but it would look cool.

Re: Offset chat
It looks great! I'd love to see you go crazy with pickguard shape. You could do something cool with the pickguard.
I'd also like to see some slots for bread knife storage

It has almost as many body pieces as a mid 70s Gibson!

GFS do some extremely affordable ones that I've been gagging to try out: https://www.guitarfetish.com/Vintage-Fo ... c_525.html

Re: Offset chat
This is butcher block guitar (with parts box bits) no.2. Also an offset (I have a big love for the Mustangs) but probably going to get some weird bits.

Re: Offset chat
Hi Everyone, first post here.. I'm looking for a Lee Ranaldo Jazzmaster if anyone has one they'd consider parting with. I remember seeing one years ago on TM & didn't have the funds at the time. Bit of a long shot I know, thought I'd ask! Cheers.

Re: Offset chat
It was! Just searched the board & there's photos etc. Can't be many of these in the country, there were only 500 made I believe, as with the Thurston Moore sig.
Re: Offset chat
awsome thanks! yes really nice guitar, and such an innovative and interesting player, SY def informed my own playing and led me down the route of alt tuning and guitar experimentation. I recently found a Thurston Moore signature after years of looking, missing out for various reasons, and it's a fantastic instrument. I'm interested in the Ranaldo for the WRHB's in a JM format, had been planning to pop a set of Novak WRHB's in a Japanese HH Jag I have recently but figured I might try and seek out a Ranaldo (again) as I prefer the JM scale for the tunings I use. Again, if anyone knows of one I'm prepared to pay a realistic price.. cheers!
