so it got treated to rio grande P90's and a Stetsbar II this afternoon, not feeling up to much due to covid after effects, head was aching like a bastard all day. But this little job made me feel like I didn't waste the entire day.
Frets were polished, pickups fitted, neck needed a bit of a shim for the stetsbar - fitted nicely, I've never needed to adjust it since I first got it and fitted it to my old LP.
Verdict? Dunno, missus is in the house, my heads splitting and I have only tuned it up really but the stetsbar is a fucking awesome trem Its been on 4 guitars I've owned now - it just works perfectly.

Re: Artist Grungeymaster
Have you tried it through the Tumnus?
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Looks awesome. Pretty sure that's my next guitar, and customised somewhat. Eager to hear how it sounds.

Re: Artist Grungeymaster
still messing with the pickup heights, neck is a rio grande blues bar, bridge is a jazz bar. They're a tight fit in the pickguard so getting the height right is proving a little fiddly
The stetsbar is perfect though - it just works brilliantly. This will be the fourth guitar its been on and I don't think I've ever had to adjust it since I first set it up.
