Nashville vs ABR-1

I happened to have an ABR-1 bridge lying around so tried it on my Les Paul’s Nashville bridge posts.
I know the proper way is 2 posts screwed directly into the body for an ABR-1 but I was curious if this would make a difference, and it did.
It’s not huge but the attack when playing is quicker and it has a slightly brighter tone with something different in the mids as well.
Anyone have a preference? I think I’m learning towards leaving the ABR-1 on.
