The Great Pick up Switcharoo of 2023

Some of you may remember that I bought a Music Man Silhouette last year and it's an amazing guitar. However, while it plays like a dream, I really wasn't digging the Dimarzio Virtual PAF (neck) and Virtual Hot PAF (bridge) pick ups. This lead to my best playing guitar being left in the case anytime I was playing amped.
I had a set of BKP Rebel Yells in my Burny LP and it sounded amaaazing but is my least favourite guitar to play. I had a hunch that with the Dimarzios being PAFy and the BKPs being awesome a switch could solve my problem with the Silhouette, while not necessarily losing much tone-wise on the LP. Being a soldering numpty I got Asher from Miracle Stringed Instruments (https://www.facebook.com/miracleguitars https://miracleguitars.com/) who is now based in the Tron to do the swap.
Just got them back today and the MM sounds mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!! The LP still sounds great. It's not as hot as before but still makes all the sounds you want a Les Paul to make.
Super stoked with a cheap mod option that's paid off big time!
