Music news websites

Post by Scooter13 »

Are any good websites that post daily reports of music related news, particularly guitar focused music? (rock and metal but doesn't have to confine to these genres).
I used to visit Ultimate Guitar tabs website frequently to see their news page, and I would die a little inside every time for the sheer awefulness of the reporting and the inane comments from the majority of it's members...

I like this for metal news http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/ ..... just don't read all the BS comments from 12yr old virgins that accompany many headlines

The news is always really up to date and most of it turns out to be true

The missus used to frequent the NME site quite a bit and fill me in on the goss. They always seemed pretty onto it with the latest. (music stuff in general)
